As most of you already know, Bill and I have been working toward adopting a child here in the US. We turned in all of our paperwork July 2012 and are now waiting for a match to a child. While we may not have firm details at this time, we know that God has it all figured out and that in His perfect timing we will bring home our child!
While we may not have a child home yet, we know that there are still some very significant costs ahead of us in the form of travel expenses, attorney fees, court document fees, and adoption agency fees. We have always lived by the conviction that God will provide all our needs, and we prefer to do it debt-free whenever possible. Now that we live on just one income, we have to be creative about how we are going to pay for all of these costs related to our adoption.
So, I'm sure you want the details!

We are selling boxes of greeting cards. All the proceeds from this fundraiser go into our adoption fund. When you buy a box of cards, you invest in our growing family by helping us pay the fees related to adoption. We still have about 1/2 of the total amount needed outstanding, and we appreciate your help - thank you!
Each box of cards has 30 cards and costs $30. They are handmade cards for all occasions with coordinating envelopes in a keepsake box. Occasions include birthdays, celebrations, thank yous, and more. They are beautifully embellished and individually wrapped.
We have an adult box and a kids' box - you choose!
